  Research Interests

: structural and dynamical properties of condensed matter at extreme thermodynamic conditions, high pressure and high temperature, phonon dispersion, sound wave propagation, elasticity, phase transition and transition mechanisms, electron-phonon coupling, elastic and thermal properties of Earth and planetary materials, Earth’s deep interior.

Techniques: inelastic x-ray scattering, x-ray diffraction, Raman and Brillouin spectroscopy, light scattering, ultrasonics.

Devices: high pressure and high temperature generating devices, diamond anvil cells, radial diamond anvil cells, resistively heated and laser heated diamond anvil cells, piston cylinder presses.
